【摘要】:Highspeeddispersionisacommonlyuseddispersionmethodinthecoatingsindustry.Forthepurposeofthispractice,x201C;highspeedx201D;wouldnormallybeunderstoodtobearangeofRPMbetween3000and10000.Thispracticeprovidesareferenceforitsuse,sothataproducerandusercanstandardizeonanincorporationtechnique.Thiswillminimizedifferencesinthemillbase,andallowtheinterestedpartiestoconcentrateonthephysical,chemical,oropticalmethodstoberun.1.1Thispracticecoversthedispersionofpigmentsusingalaboratorysizehigh-speedimpellermill.ItissimilarintechnicalcontenttoISO8780-3.Note1Thispracticeisrestrictedtomillbasesofmoderatelyhighviscosityduetoeitherhighvehicleconcentrationorhighpigmentconcentration,orboth,whichcanproducehighshearforce.Itisnotintendedtoprovideameansofformulatingeitherpilotplantorfull-scalemillbasecompositions(scalinguptheprocessfromlaboratoryequipmenttofactorymillsisnotsimple).Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
