【摘要】:Theindentationhardnessofflexiblecellularmaterialsisameasureoftheirload-bearingproperties.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesfourmethods(AtoD)forthedeterminationofindentationhardnessandonemethod(E)fordeterminationofcompressivedeflectioncoefficientandhysteresislossrateofflexiblecellularmaterials.AnnexAprovidesasummaryoftestparametersandtypicalforce-indentationgraphsobtainedwiththesemethods.Thesefivemethodsareapplicableonlytolatexfoam,urethanefoamandPVCfoamoftheopen-celltype.Themethodsspecifiedcanbeusedfortestingfinishedarticlesandforthecharacterizationofbulkmaterial.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthefollowingmethodsa)MethodA--Determinationofthe40%/30sindentationhardnessindex,whichgivesasingleindentationmeasurementforlaboratorytestpurposes;MethodB--Determinationofthe25%-40%-65%/30sindentationhardnesscharacteristics,whichprovidesinformationabouttheshapeofthehardnessindentationcurve;MethodC--Determinationofthe40%indentationhardnesscheck,whichisaquickproceduresuitableforqualitycontroltesting;MethodD--Determinationofthe25%/20slowindentationhardnessindex,whichisaquickproceduresuitableasaninspectiontest;MethodE-Determinationofthecompressivedeflectioncoefficientandhysteresislossrate,whichgivesadditionalinformationabouttheload-bearingpropertiesofmaterials.Theresultsobtainedbythesemethodsrelateonlytothetestconditionsspecifiedandcannot,ingeneral,beuseddirectlyfordesignpurposes.
